Melanie's costume piece came in and fit (mostly) and we got the patches, duty belt, badge, gun, radio, handcuffs and everything put on and boy did she look official! She, by far, has the most expensive costume but boy it is worth the money spent, it looks legitimate! She walked in the room and she looked like a police officer. The only problem was her sleeves are a bit too long, but the way she stands in uniform you can't tell in pictures, but we have a seamstress working on shortening them for filming this weekend.
But the photo shoot! Well originally we were going to some location shots (in old town) but we had set backs and there was no way we were going to have time for them so we skipped those and went straight to Brendan's studio. And things went great! We took all of Victor's singles then did Victor and Lily then Victor, Lily and Roxi. Then we did entire cast shots then we released Brendan because he had to leave at 6. Then we moved on to Robert and Angie, Robert, Angie and Elizabeth and Robert's singles then we released Cullen because he had to leave before 8. And we had Sarah there to be our lovely hair and make-up artist as well as a dead body for different shots. Then we took Lily's singles and did Lily and Roxi pictures. Then took Roxi singles. Then Angie and Elizabeth shots, then Angie singles then Elizabeth singles. So after all that it was 9pm and we had 2,083 pictures. So Natalie, Melanie, Kourtny and I went back to my house and looked at the pictures, and they were amazing. The studio gave us perfect lighting and space to take perfect and extremely professional photos.
Kourtny has since been editing the half shadow pictures and we skyped so I got to watch the magical process! It's pretty cool to be a producer and director because you get to see all areas of film working together and see all the work that goes into the process of making what you want happen.
Then Kourtny and I stayed up Saturday night and worked on more kinks in information for future seasons of Rampage. We have so much figured out it's amazing, you won't believe all that's going to happen in this show!
So with today being Monday I tried to be a producer and get locations pinned down but unfortunately everywhere I called the boss was out of the office, so I left a lot of messages.
And Kourtny and I have this weekends filming already storyboarded and we figured out the filming schedule for the next 8 weeks. We have 7 weeks of filming left before we finish filming Rampage By Definition, remember it's a 44 page script and we are filming one day a week and this week we did a photo shoot, so we'll have filmed all of Rampage By Definition in 9 weeks....9 days. 11 weeks (11 days) of work total, counting the script read through and the photo shoot. That's pretty darn good!
So for this weekend we'll have a shorter filming day (not 12 hours), about 7 or 8 hours. And we need a police car so Melanie is talking to an officer from her church if we can film his car.
Oh, and Kourtny and Sarah are going to be releasing pictures from the photo shoot about daily and we'll try to have new posters finished every weekend for a few weeks. If you see a poster you like and would like to have it hanging officially in your room (or wherever) contact me on the 'Contact Us' page or facebook or email me (the little facebook, twitter and email buttons on the top of every page will take you to us on those mediums). And if you'd like we can even sign them for you!
I am constantly keeping this site updated but be sure to like us on facebook and follow us on twitter for updates too!
Below are some edited pictures from the photo shoot for you to enjoy with thine eyes! :)
That's all from me for now!
Enjoy and Happy Filmmaking!
